Gerard Breuker
Gerard Breuker (1966) studied Dutch Law at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, majoring in the Legal Profession.
In 1991, Gerard began working as a lawyer in a general practice in Leeuwarden. In 1994, he joined Rollingswier Advocaten in Groningen, where he supervised cases of fundamental importance to national administrative practice, among other things.
Gerard is regularly appointed as a trustee in bankruptcy cases. In 1998, he completed the postgraduate continuing university education course (PAO) in Insolvency Law. In 2005, he successfully completed the Insolvency Law course at Grotius. In addition, he specialises in inheritance issues and handles many cases in which damage claims arising from unlawful acts are central.
Gerard has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Groningen Law Society and chairman of the Insolvency Law committee. He is currently chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Insolvency Law PAO and the Supervisory Board of the Youth Custodial Institution Het Poortje in Groningen.
Gerard is a partner in the Dorhout firm and his activities comprise Planning and Zoning Law, Insolvency Law and Civil Law.
