Pieter Lettinga

Pieter Lettinga (1962) studied both Private Law and Criminal Law at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. He finished his studies in 1988 and in 1989 started his own legal advice agency, together with a colleague, which focused on providing legal advice to accounting firms and their clients. Pieter was sworn in as a lawyer in 1990 and in 1997 Blokzijl & Lettinga Advocaten was established at Lopende Diep in Groningen. Subsequently, in 2002, the firm merged with Rollingswier Advocaten, one of the predecessors of Dorhout Advocaten.

Pieter mainly works in the field of Bankruptcy Law. He completed the postgraduate Insolvency Law specialist course at Grotius and is a member of the insolvency lawyers' association Insolad. In addition, his activities comprise Company Law cases, especially with regard to the unbundling and dissolution of companies and other forms of collaboration.

Pieter is a partner in Dorhout Advocaten and specialises in Insolvency Law and Company Law.
