I have been employed with Dorhout Advocaten since 2001, and I have worked in my current position as an insolvency assistant since 2008. To this end, I completed the course ‘Bankruptcy law for insolvency assistants, in-depth’ and the follow-up course ‘Irregularity audits’.
In my daily work I assist the receivers of our firm. From the liquidation order up to and including the completion of the liquidation process: interesting and enjoyable work that includes maintaining contact with the court, the tax authorities and the Employee Insurance Agency. My tasks also include providing the (financial) reports for various liquidation cases, assisting with possible dismissal procedures and I also assess the privileges of creditors. Finally, I keep records of the accounts receivable and the accounts payable.
The challenge to keep working effectively in the bustle of a liquidation case, combined with the diversity and working as a team ensure that I enjoy going to work every day.
